Dispatcher: Will this program combine all areas of dispatch together? Driver: Sure I can get directions from MapQuest or Google Maps, but it's really inconvenient to always be looking up sites and having to type all that information in on the route. Will this simplify route search? Yes, the Route Info feature of the system provides turn by turn directions, route progress, mileage, and an overall view of the map on one screen with one search. Dispatcher: Does this program have all those tiresome screens and windows that I have to click through? The most unique and user friendly feature of the D.A.D. Systems is the interface, or Driver Dashboard. A truck driver can simply log on to the system via a user name and password. The Dashboard appears as a single screen that allows the driver to easily navigate from one function to another without having to jump from one screen to another. Unlike existing systems, the Driver Dashboard utilizes single-screen integration with a series of tabs at the top of one screen. Driver: How does D.A.D. make it easier to get information on the fuel stops on my route? The Discount Fuel feature of Rock Hard's D.A.D. Systems will not only display the closest fuel location, but will also look further down the road to find fuel at a greater discount or a more convenient location. The Fuel Tax Collection and Scheduled Fuel Stop buttons also simplify this process by directing you to fuel locations and schedules for tax requirements in each state. |
Dispatcher: It's easy to match our loads to our trucks when it's one to one, but how do we do it when we have multiple loads and multiple trucks in an area? A click on the Load Balance button and a manager can view the total number of loads to pick-up and total number of units available in a defined area. The manager simply clicks on an area to zoom-in and get the load and unit details. A Red area means there are more loads and fewer units available. Blue designates that there are more units available and fewer loads. Green indicates that the loads and units are balanced. With these color codes and details, a customer can now simply balance units and loads depending upon the numbers, saving time and money in driver route length and dramatically reducing time interacting with dispatcher. Driver: Will this program get me more involved in the scheduling process to know when I'm dropping off a load and where I'll be heading next? Easy, simply click on the Next Load Details. Now you know what the load will be, the hours of trip, and fuel availability. Owner: Will it simply tell me where all my trucks are at any given time? The D.A.D. Systems is GPS ready. Global Positioning Systems allow the customer to drive more efficiently, economizing on fuel, brake wear, and time between destinations. GPS also gives a trucking company and the shipper peace of mind as they will now know where there drivers are at all times. Owner: Fuel costs are going to go up again this summer. How will this program keep our drivers in route and save us this expense? The Out of Route Miles or Geo-fencing feature of the Driver Automated Dispatch system tracks the truck's mileage and can save the trucking company thousands of dollars if a problem driver is continually building up O.O.R mileage. Owner: How will this software reduce my operating cost, and make me money? With the D.A.D. Systems interface you will always know what the load will be, the hours of trip, fuel availability, best driver for the job, and most cost-effective - thus making it easy to calculate profit on each trip. Also, Many insurance companies offer discounts in premiums knowing a GPS is installed. |
